Description
Engineered for elite ball strikers who prioritize control and precision, the single-piece, 8620 carbon steel forged PING Blueprint T Irons place a premium on workability, trajectory control, and outstanding feel. The discerning eye will appreciate the irons’ shorter face height, which allows the hosel to transition seamlessly into the top rail, creating a striking appearance at address.
While the Blueprint T receives a slight MOI and stability boost from the tungsten toe screw and tip weights, this purely forged iron emphasizes workability and feel thanks to a mass concentrated behind the impact zone. Precision-milled grooves on the face ensure player-preferred control, spin, and launch characteristics.
PING’s tour-testing revealed that the latest muscle-back Blueprint produced more ball speed and an elevated, green-holding apex compared to the previous generation. Due to the commonality of blended sets in today’s game, especially opting for more forgiveness and speed in the long irons, the T shares lofts with the Blueprint S and i230.
PING finishes the Blueprint T with its Hydropearl 2.0 finish. More than just premium-looking, Hydropearl significantly limits spin rate reduction in wet weather conditions. True Temper’s tour-proven Dynamic Gold 120 is the stock shaft option.
