Finishing Options

• Classic: Finished with durable 2.5″ black vinyl edges and grommets on all sides. Grommets are 3/4″ outer diameter and 3/8″ inner diameter with a smooth front face for clean install.
• Classic with Flaps: Adds 7″ blackout flaps with 1″ loop fastener strips around the screen’s perimeter to hide the frame and attach cleanly to enclosure walls.
• Classic with Loop Fastener: Outfitted with 1″ loop fasteners all the way around—great for custom rooms or setups requiring modular attachment.

Aspect Ratio

If visual quality is your priority, match your screen’s dimensions to your projector’s aspect ratio. But if you’re optimizing for a tight space, select a size based on room fit and adjust your projection accordingly.

Mounting Hardware

Use 6″ or 9″ black ball bungees for mounting. They offer just enough give to absorb high-speed impacts safely.

Care Instructions

• Lifespan: Wear will appear over time depending on usage, but screens are commercial-grade and built to last.
• Minimum Hitting Distance: Stay at least 10–12 feet from the screen when teeing off.
• Managing Bounceback: Hang your screen with a slight sag and install it 12–16 inches away from walls or poles to minimize rebound.
• Wrinkles from Shipping: Wrinkles from folding will relax over time. Use a light steamer with distilled water if needed—never iron directly.
• Storage Tips: Store only when fully dry. Fold loosely to prevent creasing, and always unpack promptly upon delivery.

Installation Tips

• Correct Orientation: Look for the Carl’s Place logo on the lower left corner—this is the front-facing side. You can also identify the front by the smooth grommet face.
• Attachment Method: Use ball bungees through grommets to allow screen movement. Avoid rigid mounts or over-tensioning.
• Framing Clearance: Follow the 2″ guideline—screen width should be within 2″ of the frame width for best performance.
• Wall Clearance: Maintain at least 12–16 inches between the back of the screen and any surface behind it.
